Your email account can be configured to automatically forward your onshore.net email to an email account of your choosing. These instructions will help you set up a forwarding rule for your email.
Open your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari, ect...) and log into your webmail account (http://mail.onshore.net). Once logged in, select the “Advanced Options” link from the menu bar at the top of the page. You will need to login again using your email user name and password.
From this menu you can configure mail forwarding for your account by clicking on the “Mail Forwarding” icon.
To have your email forwarded to another account, you must make a rule. Please note that once this rule is made, mail will not be delivered to your onshore account until you remove or disable this rule. Click on the ‘Add a Mail Forwarding Rule’ to configure your account to forward mail to another email account.
From the ‘Add Mail Forwarding’ page, make sure that forwarding is ‘enabled’, and select ‘email address’ from the drop down menu.
Enter the email address you would like your mail forwarded to, in this example it is nobody@nowhere.com, and click the ‘create’ button to create this rule and enable mail forwarding on your account.
You should now see a list of enabled rules on your email account.
To stop email forwarding you must remove the rule from your account.
Log into your account using the same process as described in step two of this document.
Click on the ‘Mail Forwarding’ icon to see a list of the enabled rules for your account.
Click on the forwarding rule that you want to edit or remove to modify it.
From here you can change the forwarding address, disable the rule, or delete the rule.
To stop your email account from forwarding, you may either disable the rule or delete it entirely. In this example I chose to delete the rule.
The email forwarding setup page now indicates that there are no rules, and email forwarding is no longer set up on this account.
