Windows 2000

Microsoft Windows

onShore has deployed Windows-based solutions for many years. Our experience dates back to the original version of Windows v1.0 which was released in 1985. Microsoft made significant strides in improving upon the original Windows Operating Systems and in 1990, Windows started becoming the default OS within many organizations.

Flash forward to today, onShore has transitioned many of our clients to Windows 2000 server and workstation. While the workstation software has recently been upgraded to Windows XP, Windows 2000 Server will be upgraded to Windows .NET Server toward the end of 2002. We build and maintain these servers for many of our Windows-based clients.

Windows 2000 Server is the most reliable version of Windows to date. It is easier to use and manage, provides centralized management via Active Directory, leverages your exisiting IT investments and provides a broad range of hardware support.
